NCS Academy | Overwatch Bootcamp (August 2019)

Join us for a great day of Overwatch action! No need to gather a team of your own. We will create balanced teams for 6v6 matches and if there are enough players we will play through an actual tournament.

BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE! … the Washington Justice are playing Vancouver Titans at 6:30pm and we are co-hosting a FREE viewing party with the Official Fan Group, Vice & Virtue! Stay after the bootcamp to cheer on our DC team!

Computer Upgrade King will be providing i5/1060/144hz setups, you just need to bring your peripherals! (though will have some spares if needed)

Schedule

• 10am – doors open, open play
• 12pm – check-in and team creation, please be here within 30 minutes
• 6:30pm – Washington Justice vs Vancouver Titans

Peripherals

Everyone has their own preferred peripherals and we want beginners to get familiar with what is expect at competitive events so for those reasons we ask that everyone brings their own peripherals. We do have extras of each type but in limited quantities and qualities. Contact registration@gexesports.com if you are in need of something in particular.

• Map 1 – Control – random map
• Map 2 – Hybrid – map picked by loser, side chosen by winner (random if last was draw)
• Map 3 – Escort – map picked by loser, side chosen by winner (random if last was draw)
• Map 4+ – Assault – map picked by loser, side chosen by winner (random if last was draw)

Venue Info

The event space is located in the lower level of the buidling at 9261 Plaskett Ln, Lorton, VA 22079. An entrance is accessible via stairs on the back of the building or inside the left most door via elevator or stairs.

Park on the street if a spot is available. If being picked up or dropped off please ask your ride to turn around in the cul-de-sac instead of the the parking lot.
